PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Elderly Man Dies when Struck by Car in Cabazon

Cabazon- An 86-year-old man has died after being hit by a car, said reports.
According to the Riverside County coroner’s office, the elderly man identified as Joe R. Thomas, from Cabazon, was fatally struck by a car along Bonita Avenue, east of Magnolia Street, on Tuesday night.
Thomas was brought to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he was announced dead early the next day.
A California Highway Patrol (CHP) dispatcher said the uninjured car driver who hit the man stayed at the accident area and waited for the authorities.
