VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Elderly Driver Dies, 3 Passengers Sustain Injuries in Ontario Solo-Vehicle Accident

Ontario- A 65-year-old male driver has died while at least three of his passengers sustained injuries following a solo-vehicle accident which occurred along the Ontario Freeway, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

Reports said the driver, who was identified as Jose Luis Baneulos Acuna, was traveling west along Highway 60 near Milliken Avenue when he suddenly lost control of his 1999 Ford Explorer, causing the vehicle to veer towards the dirt shoulder and crash into a tree.

His passengers from Los Angeles identified as Dolores Castro Montoya, 70, Amalia Castro Montoya, and Evia Baneulos, 59, were all injured in the accident.

Meanwhile, a 2-year-old child was spared from injuries, said reports.
