PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Elderly Dies when Hit by Car in Citrus Heights

Citrus Heights - An elderly woman has died after being hit by a car near the intersection of Halifax Street and Auburn Boulevard, said reports.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Patricia Ann Erickson, 73, from Citrus Heights.
According to reports, the elderly was hit by a Nissan Altima that was moving northeast along Auburn Boulevard. She was announced dead at the Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
Authorities said alcohol is not likely the cause of the fatal accident.
