June27,2011

San Luis Obispo- A 21-year-old driver has pleaded not guilty to drunk driving, driving without a license, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated following a rollover accident which claimed the lives of two people, said reports.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, Evan Alexander Green was driving a 2004 Saturn automobile along Avila Beach when he suddenly lost control of it. The vehicle then rolled over, killing Green’s two passengers identified as Aaron Beaver, 21, from Eureka, and Marcus Alex Nelson, 21, from Castro Valley.

At least one test revealed that the driver had a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.245 percent when the accident occurred last Friday, said reports.

Green was released from jail after paying a $150,000 bail. His hearing was scheduled on July 11, said reports.
