Driver kills Second Hit-and-Run Elderly Victim

Compton – A 71-year-old woman from Mexico died Sunday after being hit by a driver who was fleeing another accident he got involved in near Raymond Street, authorities said.
Teresa Andrade was driving along Wilmington Avenue at around 2 pm when the car she was driving was hit by an SUV that was making a U-turn after clipping a northbound motorcycle driver.
Andrade was ejected from the vehicle as the SUV driver once again fled an accident scene leaving behind his license plate that got dislodged from the vehicle because of the impact.
Andrade died at the scene. No one else was reportedly injured.
Authorities traced the license plate to a Compton residence where they took in custody three males, two of which were juveniles, who were all related to the unidentified driver.
Other family members of the driver later brought him to the police station where he was questioned.
