San Diego – A 20-year-old woman driver hit four pedestrians who were waiting to cross the street in Egger Highlands Saturday night, San Diego Police said.
The driver was arrested after injuring four pedestrians at around 7p.m. along Coronado Avenue, authorities said.
Reports indicate that the driver has tried to avoid another vehicle turning onto Thermal Avenue and so she swerved towards the pedestrians along the street.
One of the pedestrians was reportedly in serious condition after sustaining leg injuries. The three other pedestrians have sustained minor injuries.
The driver is suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol as authorities investigate the accident.
