BOAT ACCIDENT: Divers Found No Recording Device at Puddingstone Reservoir Crash Site

Los Angeles- Lifeguard and police divers have not found the recording device at the Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park accident site, according to reports on Tuesday.

Reports said divers from Los Angeles County Lifeguard and Los Angeles County Sheriff Department failed to find the video camera that was installed in front of the watercraft. The officers, however, found the empty dashboard and will examine it to trace clues on the cause of accident.

The four injured passengers in the motorboat crash were recuperating at home. The fatalities were identified as Anesia Barba Bautista, Mari-Con Abello, and Aurora Yeso, reports said.

Reports said the motorboat operator was navigating along the Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park when it crashed into the watercraft. The rescuers pronounced the three watercraft passengers dead at the scene while the four occupants of the motorboat were treated at a local hospital.

According to Los Angeles police officers' initial investigation, the boat operator was not drunk at time of accident. Authorities resumed operations at the lake park on Tuesday.
