BICYCLE ACCIDENT: DUI Driver Kills an Oceanside Teen

Oceanside – An unidentified 18-year-old teen died after his bicycle was struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by a drunken motorist who fled after the incident in Oceanside, Tuesday.

Authorities said that the teen victim was found on Sleeping Indian Road by a passerby. The Oceanside police was able to recover a hubcap at the scene of the incident that led to the capture of the suspected driver of the vehicle.

Police revealed the name of the driver as Hernan Gonzalez, 24. He remained under detention in Vista jail as he waits his arraignment on Monday.
