CAR ACCIDENT, DUI: DUI-Related Car Accident in Hanford Results in Fatalities

Hanford- An alcohol-related car accident, which occurred along east of Highway 41, has claimed the lives of at least two people, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
The driver identified as 26-year-old Jonathan Miller, from Lemoore, was driving a 2001 Kia Rio along Grangeville Boulevard when he swerved off the road and smashed into a tree, causing the vehicle to roll over.
Reports said one of the passengers died after being taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno while another one was announced dead at the scene. A third passenger suffered from minor injuries.
Authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI.
