Collision Kills Pedestrian, Injures Another

San Diego – A couple walking on an unmarked crosswalk were hit by a west-bound vehicle near Frazee Road, authorities said recently.

Reports indicate that the two victims just got off a trolley and were walking across Hazard Center Drive when they were hit by a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old woman who has stopped to assist the victims.

The victims were identified as 33-year-old Monica J. Azero and her 30 year-old boyfriend who remains unidentified.

Azero died shortly after she was brought to a hospital while her boyfriend remains to be in critical condition.
