Children's Clothes Recalled After Failing Flammability Test
December 11, 2009
Washington - Following the recall of thousands of chenille bathrobes which were linked to burn accidents resulting to six deaths, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced another recall of clothes which failed to meet the federal flammability standards.
In a statement, the consumer agency said more than 7,000 “Little Miss Matched Girls Pajama Sets” are being recalled in the US and Canada, adding that people should immediately return the products to retailers for a refund.
The pajama set, marketed to young girls, comes in three designs: white with multi-colored strips and polka dots; pink with blue strips and over-sized polka dots; and black with multi-colored stripes and polka dots.
The recalled products, priced at $30, were sold in US retail stores nationwide between March 2008 and July 2009.
