Carob Milk Products Recalled

After failing to provide the proper label, Simple Foods Inc. has announced a massive recall that covers all its cake products distributed to health food stores nationwide

In a statement, the company representative said the products contain milk which was not declared on the label. However, the cakes are generally safe to consume unless for people who have severe lactose-intolerance, he added.

The recalled announcement covers all Carob Coated Mint Rice Cakes, Carob Almond Butter Coated Rice Cakes, Carob Peanut Butter Squares, Carob Brown Rice Crunch, Crispy Carob Peanut Butter Squares, Carob Mint Creme Cups, Carob Almond Butter Cups, Carob Coated Rice Cakes, and Carob Peanut Butter Cups.
