Los Angeles - Authorities are investigating an incident that involved a car which plowed through a diner in Fairfax Village the other day, reports said.

Police said the incident occurred at around 3:30 am, near the intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and Rosewood Avenue. The driver was apparently trying to make a turn onto Rosewood Avenue when it lost control and slammed right into the restaurant.

The driver of the car ran away after the incident but left his unharmed passenger behind. A male patron and a waiter were injured by glass shards and were treated immediately.
