PRODUCT RECALL: CPSC, Target Recall Halloween Kid Frog Masks
October 24, 2011
Los Angeles - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Target has issued the voluntary recall of the plush frog mask for children after it was found that the Halloween toy lacks proper ventilation and could pose a suffocation hazard, reports said.
The recall involved some 3,400 masks which were made in China and being sold at Target for more than two months now.
Although no incidents of injury have been reported yet, authorities have warned consumers about buying the product and advised them to any Target store for full refund.
