VEHICLE CRASH: CHP Officer Dies after Crashing into Tractor-Trailer during Pursuit

Redlands - A California Highway Patrol (CHP) motorcycle officer has died after he crashed into a tractor-trailer while chasing four suspects in San Bernardino County.
According to reports, seven-year veteran Tom Coleman was moving at a speed of 100 mph when the accident occurred along the Redlands intersection.
He was reportedly chasing a car, which was suspected of vehicle code violations.
Authorities said the four people inside the vehicle fled but were captured and arrested later on.
Coleman died at the scene of the crash. His body was not immediately removed from the area and was covered with a red tarp and a U.S. flag while, the mangled rubble of Coleman’s motorcycle lay nearby, reports noted.
