Boy, 3, Drowned in Swimming Pool

South Sacramento – A 3-year-old boy died in a Sacramento Hospital Thursday after being found in the bottom of a swimming pool in the Vineyard area of south Sacramento, fire officials said.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District Capt. Christian Pebbles, a relative discovered the boy at the bottom of the pool at home in the 9800 block of the Fall Valley Way.
She called 911 shortly after 5 p.m.
Paramedics performed CPR on the boy and rushed him to Methodist Hospital.
Pebbles added, the mother was inside the house and the boy was left unsupervised for a few minutes.
