Bike Accident: Bicyclist Dies when Hit by Freight Train in Central Fresno

Fresno - A 44-year-old male bicyclist died after being hit by a freight train, said reports.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the bicyclist as Johnny Mancha, from Fresno.
According to reports, Mancha was either walking or riding his bicycle near the tracks along Dakota and Palm avenues at around 6:30 p.pm when he was suddenly hit by a passing train.
He was announced dead shortly after the accident.
Traffic near the intersection of Dakota and Palm avenues as well as Shied Avenues near Wishon Avenue flowed again at about 9 p.m.
