CAR COLLISION: Beach Boulevard Car Collision Topples Electric Post

Anaheim – A female driver suffered mild injuries Friday afternoon after her car collided with another vehicle along Beach Boulevard near Ball Road and Lincoln Avenue, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, the collision between a Mitsubishi and a white sedan took place in the 800 block of Beach May 6, 2011 Boulevard at around 12:30 pm. The Mitsubishi then crashed into an electric pole nearby, knocking it down.
The Mitsubishi’s female driver was trapped for several minutes inside her car due to live wires sparking around the accident scene. Rescuers waited until utility workers have turned off the electricity in the area.
The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
