RAILROAD ACCIDENT: Authorities Investigates Metro Gold Line in Man’s Death

Pasadena – Authorities have begun investigations into the accident involving a southbound Gold Line Train that resulted in the death of an unidentified man the other day.
Metro officials and LA County sheriff’s detectives are conducting joint probe to determine the cause of the fatal accident.
Reports said the accident occurred early morning while the man was walking in front of the train which was leaving the Del Mar station between Arroyo Parkway and Raymond Boulevard.
At least 40 passengers were evacuated from the train after the accident as train service was disrupted due to the investigation and only one track was used.
