PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Authorities Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Tierrasanta

San Diego - Authorities are investigating an accident that ended the life of a 66-year-old woman in Tierrasanta, said reports.
According to San Diego Police, the woman was walking south along Tierrasanta Boulevard near Tambo Road when she was suddenly hit by a 2001 Chrysler sedan.
The uninjured driver stopped the vehicle after the accident.
Reports said the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital, where she was announced dead after a short time. Her name has not yet been released.
Authorities believed that alcohol was not involved in the fatal accident.
