Authorities Identify Three Fatalities in Hit-and-run Accident

Hemet, CA - Authorities on Wednesday identified the three fatalities in the multi-vehicle crash caused by a speeding driver who immediately fled the scene.
Police officials said Cedric Twayne Page, 37, Christine Emily Giambra, 72, and Zaria Williams, 11, were killed in the accident on Tuesday afternoon which involved six cars.
Meanwhile, three others were seriously injured in the accident, officials added.
Authorities said they are conducting a manhunt for the speeding driver who hit a vehicle which consequently hit another. Meanwhile, the other three vehicles failed to avoid the wreckage and hit the other damaged cars.
Earlier report said the accident happened around 5 pm, west of Four Seasons Boulevard in Homeland.
Few hours after the accident, a gas station clerk reported to authorities that he saw a damaged car pulled over and the driver came to put water on the engine, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP officials said the clerk told them he saw an El Monte address posted on the damaged car.
