SURFING ACCIDENT: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Son Recovers from Surfing Injuries

July 26, 2011

Los Angeles- Christopher Schwarzenegger was released from UCLA hospital Monday night after showing recuperation from surfing injuries.

According to reports, the son of the former California governor was out of the intensive care unit (ICU) after doctors confirmed his improved medical condition. He survived critical lung injuries after a surfing accident on July 17.

Christopher was boogie-boarding in Malibu beach when a wave hit him. He suffered broken bones and collapsed lung and was rushed to UCLA hospital. His mother, Maria Shriver was beside him in the ICU, reports said.

Reports said the actor revised his divorce papers and allowed spousal support for Shriver on Monday afternoon.

The family drama was triggered by Arnold’s public admission that he was fathering a 13-year-old son out of wedlock.
