  6. Do not approach a strange dog you don't know or a dog that is not attended by his owner.

  7. If you have a baby at home, never let go of your baby unattended if you have a dog in your house. Your dog must be trained to stay away from the baby.

  8. Any stray dogs in the neighborhood must be reported immediately so that the rightful owners may be contacted and be warned of any potential for danger.

These animal attack tips, however, can only help in preventing dog bites; still a good pet care begin with conscientious ownership. The owner should always take responsibility in making sure that his pet is properly trained and contained to minimize the risk of animal attack.
