San Diego – A pickup truck crashed into the University City home and injured a 98-year-old woman who was resting in her bedroom this morning in San Diego.

According to San Diego Police, a black Ford F250 pickup truck was traveling on the westbound lane of Governor’s Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The pickup truck crossed the median and almost struck incoming vehicles before going over the sidewalk and crashing into the bedroom of the victim at the University City home at about 7:00am.
The bed where the woman was resting was pushed several feet after the incident.
Although the victim was shaken after the crash, apparently she did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
