Vehicle Collision: 3 People Injured in MTA Bus and Car Collision in Northridge

Northridge – Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision between a Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus and a car that injured at least three people in Northridge this morning.
The bus accident occurred in the 17900 block of West Lassen Street at about 10:35 am.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Metro bus driver and one passenger sustained minor injuries while the driver of the car suffered critical injuries.
The driver was brought to a nearby hospital and authorities are monitoring his condition.
Both vehicles sustained major damage.
The identities of the injured parties were not yet released by authorities.
No other details were immediately available.
