VEHICLE COLLISION: 3 Injured in Camarillo Two-Vehicle Collision

Camarillo - At least three people have been injured following a two-vehicle collision along Woodcreek and Santa Rosa roads, the Sheriff’s Department said.
According to reports, a sports car driver identified as Samuel Maynard, 21, from Camarillo, was making a left turn from Santa Rosa onto Woodcreek when his vehicle was suddenly broadsided by a westbound Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) being driven by Robin Platt, 47, also from Camarillo, at around 4:10 p.m.
Both Maynard and Platt suffered from minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a passenger in the sports car who was identified as Vanessa Maynard, 50, from Camarillo, suffered from serious injuries after being trapped inside the vehicle.
She was rushed to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks to receive immediate medical treatment for her injuries.
