San Diego, CA - Military officials said rescue teams found three bodies of the crew members who were onboard when their military aircraft crashed into the sea in the southwest of San Diego on Tuesday.
In a statement, Navy spokeswoman Lt. Karen Burzynski said they are still looking for the other two missing crew members.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.
The search and rescue team, which includes San Diego Harbor police, US Coast Guard, Mexican Navy, US Customs and Border Protection, and Military Navy, is searching the crash site off the northwest of Mexico near the Coronado Island to find any survivor.
According to earlier report, the HH-60 Seahawk helicopter, which is used in warfare and search operation, took off during a training exercise before crashing into the ocean.
Meanwhile, investigators have not yet determine the cause of the plane crash and said they are not sure if the aircraft has a flight data recorder which may shed light to the investigation.
