Pedestrian Accident: 2 Women Injured While Crossing Road in Sacramento

Sacramento – A pedestrian accident injured two women while they were crossing a road in Sacramento this morning.

According to Sacramento Police, the incident happened while the two women were crossing near the intersection of 17th and K Streets.

Before they were able to reach the other side, they were struck by a Toyota 4Runner that was heading east on J Street.

The two women sustained minor to moderate injuries and was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver of the 4Runner stayed and cooperated with the police.

The driver told responding officers that he did not notice the pedestrians as he was blinded by the sun.

No arrests were made after the incident.
