VEHICLE COLLISION: 2 LAPD Officers Hospitalized after Hitting Light Pole, Parked Vehicle

Los Angeles - At least two Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers were rushed to the hospital after their patrol car hit a light pole and a parked vehicle along Crenshaw/Baldwin Hills areas, said reports.
According to authorities, the accident occurred near Farmdale Avenue and Exposition Boulevard. The patrol car was moving westbound along Exposition when the driver suddenly swerved to avoid colliding with a car that was turning left.
However, the patrol car ended up hitting a light pole and a parked vehicle. Both the officers sustained non-life threatening injuries.
An occupant of the parked vehicle was also rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries in the collision.
