CHAIN ACCIDENT: 2 Killed and 5 Injured in Cerritos Multi-Vehicle Car Crash

Cerritos – Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the multi-vehicle car accident that killed two people in Cerritos last night.
According to CHP, the fatal crash occurred on the northbound San Gabriel (605) River Freeway at the Artesia (91) Freeway shortly before 7:00 pm.
The coroner’s office identified one of the victims as 67-year-old Michael Harris of San Carlos.
The identity of the other fatally injured man was withheld by authorities pending notification of his relatives.
Five other people were injured in the accident with four of them currently in critical condition.
Authorities are still monitoring their condition.
The 605 Freeway was closed for almost five hours due to the crash.
