Car Accident: 1 Man Killed, 2 Children Injured in Lake County Car Crash

Lake County – A driver has died while two children suffered from moderate injuries Sunday evening after a solo car crash along Elk Mountain Road, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
According to reports, Carlos Eddie Narvaes, 29, was driving his 1991 Toyota Previa with a two-year-old and a four-year-old child when he lost control of the car at about 5:00 p.m. Witnesses said the car crossed the lanes of the road, went down an embankment and then overturned.
Citizens and witnesses in the area rushed to the scene and pulled out the two children trapped inside the car wreck. The two-year old was in a car seat while the other one was not properly secured.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the boys were not released.
